Skilled Technician Wanted

Are you a hands-on problem-solver with a passion for keeping industrial systems running at peak performance? Inovair, a leader in Geared Centrifugal Blower Technology, is seeking a skilled Industrial Field Service Technician to deliver top-tier service to our customers. The technician must be able to properly and safely operate all machines marketed and serviced by the company. If you thrive in dynamic environments, excel at troubleshooting, and enjoy empowering clients with technical know-how, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Do:

· Commission & Maintain Geared Centrifugal Blowers: Perform on-site installation, routine maintenance, and repairs of industrial equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime.

· Troubleshoot Like a Pro: Identify and fix mechanical, electrical, and controls system issues, ensuring smooth operations with timely solutions.

· Train Customers: Provide hands-on training to clients and end-users on equipment operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting, building their confidence and competence.

· Document with Precision: Complete detailed service reports for every job, ensuring accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions to support compliance and continuous improvement.

· Follow Leadership: Perform all tasks as assigned by the Field Service Manager, meeting project goals with professionalism and efficiency.

· Collaborate & Report: Work closely with engineering and production teams to implement improvements, updates, and retrofits, while documenting service activities with clear, detailed reports.

· Travel with Purpose: Hit the road to customer sites across USA & Canada, representing Inovair with professionalism and expertise.

What You Bring:

· Experience: 2+ years in field service, industrial maintenance, automotive repair, HVAC, pumps or a related technical role (military experience a plus!).

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, using diagnostic tools, and reading technical schematics. As well as controls such as: PLC’s, VFD’s, Ignition, and Panel View to name a few.

· Customer Focus: Strong communication skills and a knack for teaching others, with a commitment to exceptional service.

· Adaptability: Thrives in dynamic settings, comfortable working independently, and is open to travel as required.

· Bonus Points: Certification in industrial systems, Water or Waste Water Experience, or related fields; experience with VFD’s of various brands, Allen Bradley Software, Ignition Software, Electrical Certification.
